A separate database per business
Every Bordee workspace has its own PostgreSQL database, not rows in a table shared with other customers. Different businesses' data never meet in queries, caches or files.
Excel there and back
The Export button above contacts, companies and deals downloads exactly what the table shows, as CSV or XLSX. Fixed it in Excel? Upload it back: a check first shows new and updated records and errors, and no duplicates appear.
A copy in your own storage
Every night Bordee puts an archive of all your data into your S3-compatible storage (AWS S3, Cloudflare R2, Backblaze B2, Wasabi or Hetzner), optionally as a ZIP with AES-256. The archive is open: JSON lines for every table and CSV files of contacts, companies and deals, readable without Bordee. It never contains secrets.
